At Chipown Microelectronics, the two sides held a technical exchange meeting. The meeting focused on in-depth discussions around the common difficulties of current high-power-density power supplies.
How can the high-frequency, high-efficiency advantages of wide-bandgap semiconductors be fully leveraged? This is a core issue of common concern to PMIC and its member units. In response, PMIC presented key research projects and discussed technical solutions for high-frequency wide-bandgap semiconductor applications.

During the visit, Chipown Microelectronics highlighted its latest R&D achievement to PMIC representatives—the “full-range soft-switching megahertz FSBB+DCX controller.” As an industry-leading solution, this product brings enormous advantages in volume and efficiency for applications such as satellite power supplies, energy storage power supplies, and industrial module power supplies.
At Maitian Energy, the theme of the technical exchange was energy storage technology and applications. PMIC students first briefly introduced their respective research topics in topology innovation and control algorithms; the Maitian Energy technical team then systematically presented the company’s technical accumulation, product layout, and market insights in energy storage inverters, portable energy storage, and residential energy storage systems, and shared engineering experience and challenges.
After the meeting, PMIC representatives visited Maitian Energy’s R&D laboratory and products. This session gave the students a deeper understanding of the rigorous verification system that technological innovation must undergo from theory and prototypes to mature products.
Through face-to-face in-depth exchanges with two Wuxi member companies, this member visit precisely listened to corporate voices and aligned with the needs of key links in the industrial chain, thereby laying a solid foundation for subsequently providing more targeted and deeper technical collaboration and support services.
