LITE-ON Technology Visits ZJU-PMIC

On September 2 and 19, 2024, technical experts from Lite-On Technology visited the ZJU-PMIC Application Testing Laboratory. During the visit, the ZJU-PMIC team showcased several of their representative achievements. Both sides engaged in discussions, particularly focusing on ZJU-PMIC’s MHz cellular 380V-12V DCX technology, and shared insights on the team’s experiences in advancing towards higher efficiency and higher power density in power electronics. Both engaged in a thorough and in-depth discussion regarding the increasingly stringent power density requirements for servers, current development bottlenecks, and future outlooks. Each side expressed their views, contributing to a comprehensive exchange of ideas on these critical topics. News | Two Dynamic On-resistance Test Method Standards Released

Led by Zhejiang University and the Zhejiang University Hangzhou International Science and Technology Innovation Center, and following the CASAS standard development process, two group standards, T/CASAS 034—2024 “Dynamic on-resistance test method for GaN high electron mobilitytransistor (HEMT) in zero-voltage-switching-on circuits” and T/CASAS 035—2024 “Dynamic on-resistance test method for GaN high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) in third quadrant conduction mode” were officially released to the industry on September 30, 2024. These standards were developed through standard drafting group meetings, extensive solicitation of opinions, and voting on committee drafts. T/CASAS 034—2024 “Dynamic on-resistance test method for GaN high electron mobilitytransistor (HEMT) in zero-voltage-switching-on circuits” describes the testing method for measuring the dynamic on-resistance of Gallium Nitride High Electron Mobility Transistors (GaN HEMT) in zero-voltage soft-switching circuits. PCIM Exhibition Exchange On August 28, 2024, the Zhejiang University Hangzhou International Science and Technology Innovation Center Power Management Technology Innovation Alliance (ZJU-PMIC) participated in the PCIM Asia Shenzhen International Exhibition for Power Components, Renewable Energy Management. The alliance engaged in extensive technical exchanges with companies specializing in power semiconductor components and modules, electromagnetic and magnetic materials, advanced testing equipment, and system-level enterprises from various fields. Embracing Challenges, Empowering Development | ZJU-PMIC 2024 Autumn Seminar Successfully Concludes

On August 19, 2024, the 2024 Autumn Seminar of the Zhejiang University Hangzhou International Science and Technology Innovation Center Power Management Technology Innovation Alliance (ZJU-PMIC) successfully concluded in Hangzhou. The seminar was co-chaired by Professor Wu Xinke, Associate Professor Shao Shuai, Researcher Chen Yenan, and Researcher Dong Zezheng from Zhejiang University. The event was attended by Professor Zhang Junming from Zhejiang University, along with Professor Xue Lingxiao and Associate Researcher Yan Haidong from Tianjin University, both of whom delivered insightful presentations. The seminar featured one keynote report, seven alliance project reports, and a graduate salon poster session. 2024年7月14日,北京大众的技术专家到访浙江大学杭州国际科创中心电源管理技术创新联盟(简称“ZJU-PMIC”),参观了ZJU-PMIC应用测试实验室,并了解当下课题进展及取得成果。 同时,双方深入探讨了SiC功率器件新型封装架构,对联盟低温烧结银/铜材料及其封装集成方面成果展开热烈讨论,并对其在目前面临的挑战进行了深入交流。 2024年7月16日,三安集成的技术代表来访ZJU-PMIC应用测试实验室,展示了氮化镓三维集成电机驱动功率模块、车充用低共模噪声元胞化RDCX、基于GaN器件的三相MISN变换器等最新研究成果。 ZJU-PMIC团队与技术专家重点交流了GaN器件在电源应用中的优势与挑战,并介绍了课题组提出的全象限GaN器件动态导通电阻测试电路与多组双脉冲测试方法,更准确评估不同技术路线的GaN器件的动态性能。

2024年6月12日,台达电子技术代表团一行来访浙江大学杭州国际科创中心电源管理技术创新联盟,与ZJU-PMIC团队在先进封装技术、高效高密度电源管理技术等课题研究上充分交流互鉴。 ZJU-PMIC团队的董泽政博士向代表团介绍了电源联盟的研究方向、运营模式与代表性成果,并感谢台达对联盟建设提供的支持与帮助。 闫海东博士向代表团详细介绍了团队在低温烧结银/铜材料及其封装集成方面的代表性研究成果,与企业专家深入探讨了SiC功率器件新型封装架构和大面积低温烧结互连界面的热机械可靠性等问题。针对高散热、高可靠和低成本SiC封装的应用需求,团队开发了甲酸辅助超低温/低压铜烧结新型封装技术,有效解决了传统贫氧气氛烧结条件下烧结铜互连界面的氧化问题,并展示了1200V-1000A 全铜烧结SiC功率模块,引发了热烈讨论。 ZJU-PMIC团队同时展示了氮化镓三维集成电机驱动功率模块、车充用低共模噪声元胞化RDCX等最新研究成果。 随后,台达代表团与ZJU-PMIC吴新科教授等成员召开技术座谈会,就电源管理领域的前沿发展趋势、未来应用场景及联盟最新研究课题等多个方面进行讨论。 此次来访,ZJU-PMIC团队与台达代表团充分探讨了先进封装技术等课题,展示了团队最新研究成果与技术路径。通过深入交流会员企业的发展规划,ZJU-PMIC将会更为有效地促进联盟和会员企业在电源管理技术领域的持续发展,切实满足会员企业的共性、基础性、前沿技术发展需求。

On May 23, 2024, the Zhejiang University International Innovation Center for Power Management Technology (ZJU-PMIC) visited two member companies: Xi’an Aico Cyber Electric Co., Ltd., and Xi’an Singularity Energy Co., Ltd. The purpose of this visit was to gain a comprehensive understanding of these member companies’ research achievements, technological approaches, and industrial layouts in the field of power management technology, enabling ZJU-PMIC to provide deeper technical support for their development.
