On July 14, 2024, technical experts from Beijing Volkswagen visited the Power Management Innovation Consortium (ZJU-PMIC) of the Hangzhou International Science and Technology Innovation Center, Zhejiang University. They toured the ZJU-PMIC application testing laboratory and learned about the progress and achievements of current research projects.

At the same time, the two sides held in-depth discussions on novel packaging architectures for SiC power devices, engaged in lively discussions on PMIC’s achievements in low-temperature sintered silver/copper materials and their packaging integration, and conducted in-depth exchanges on the challenges currently faced in this area.

On July 16, 2024, technical representatives from Sanan Integration visited the ZJU-PMIC application testing laboratory and presented their latest research achievements, including a gallium nitride three-dimensional integrated motor drive power module, a low common-mode noise cellular RDCX for vehicle chargers, and a three-phase MISN converter based on GaN devices.

The ZJU-PMIC team and the technical experts focused their exchange on the advantages and challenges of GaN devices in power supply applications, and introduced the full-quadrant GaN device dynamic on-resistance testing circuit and multigroup double pulse testing method proposed by the research group, which can more accurately evaluate the dynamic performance of GaN devices under different technical routes.
